PCG Polska completed a series of 4 training meetings with the personnel of the John Paul II Geriatric Hospital in Katowice (EMC Silesia) regarding screening to detect potential victims of violence among the elderly.
Doctors, nurses, caregivers, physiotherapists, psychologists and other employees of the Hospital actively participated in the preparations for the piloting of the screening tools, attentively listening to lectures, holding discussions during case studies and films presented, and taking part in drama scenes to practice the screening process.
We are impressed by the medical staff of this facility, their reflectiveness and readiness to act in this area.
